Does Marijuana Relieve Anxiety and panic Attacks?

I’m Clyde, fouthy-six, and I experienced severe anxiety problems for most of my adult life. Some claim that pot offers just a temporary fix or “high”, as the ingredient, THC, would wear off in short time, leaving you eager and in your head right back where you started — sometimes even leaving you feeling worse. I get that, and I agree to a large extent. Coming down for landing is a distinctive feeling dependant on the type of pot consumed. For me, as long as I stuck to the sativa normal strain of pot, I felt much better overall, and the impact of my anxiety and panic attacks was lessened only when for an hour or so. I knew that pot only offered temporary systematic anxiety relief, and was not a permanent cure for my anxiety. For a more permanent solution, I knew I had to deal with the main cause of my fears. But at the same time, I knew I couldn’t function day to day experiencing and enjoying the huge bouts of frustration and panic. Although I used pot to help relieve my bouts with anxiety, I also knew it carried certain risks of potential side effects like devastation of brain cells and documented effects on the bronchi. Now there are hundreds of retail dispensaries throughout the state, and there is a ballot effort to totally legalize pot and eliminate the dependence on a doctor’s recommendation. Pot has become a more widely accepted tool for temporary getting rid of the effects of panic attacks and anxiety. But you shouldn’t look to pot or any other drug as a permanent solution.
